Dear1 narrated about our blog-writing perseverance in yesterday’s post. Indeed, when Dear1 and Dear2 started writing this blog, our aim was 1) To share with others on Dear1 and Dear2’s joy being as a couple, 2) Taking this as avenue to get to know each other better, 3) Motivating each other and oneself and 4) To document out our thoughts, feelings and processes which can be used as further reference.

Day by day, as Dear1 and Dear2 writes in this blog to achieve the above mentioned, this has become a habit, not a habit where Dear1 and Dear2 will without fail write a post, but a habit where we strives to achieve the one-post-per-day determination. That leads me to the topic today – habits.

Dear2 read somewhere before that, successful people are not successful because they do things differently, but because they perform the most habitual tasks. The key to success then becomes, ‘to be boringly consistent’. This becomes more apt when a friend recently commented about friend Dreamy, that Dreamy is successful in her own field simply because Dreamy is now performing her work duties habitually, but put Dreamy in another work environment, she may struggle for a while again.

Habits. Know what works best, and just keep doing it. You will soon see results. Just like how Dear1 and Dear2 strives to write a post daily, unknowingly, we have achieved our goal. Yeah! Moving on, Dear1 and Dear2 will continue to strive hard. Of course there may be struggles and obstacles in this daily task, but you know that as long as the perseverance is there, you have given your best and what results then become inconsequential.
